I live in the tension between being redeemed by Jesus yet still imperfect. And as such, I invite you to join me on my spiritual journey as you walk alongside me on your own. I am enthralled by the Christian mystics and feel a calling to follow in their footsteps—to go deeper into relationship with God.
I struggled with anorexia—a 23 year off-and-on battle—and have walked through recovery. This has been part of my spiritual journey, and I am happy to put it behind me—but never the lessons from it. The Christian journey must be one of growth. Sometimes we stumble, but we are always learning. I thank God He let me walk through anorexia. I would not be the person I am today had I not walked through it with Him. It has taken me to new terrain on my journey. It will always be part of who I am, but it does not define me.
Jesus, the Word, became flesh and came to give us life and life abundantly. My desire is to share my journey of God’s love, hope, and redemption through my written and spoken words. Whether or not you know God, know Him well, or have been walking with Him for a long time, let’s discover more, ask questions, and explore Him together. Welcome, friend.
